WOW! Potty training is SO MUCH FUN!! We have been trying to get Connor excited to start using the toilet like big people do. We even let him pick out and try on big boy underwear. Well the excitement for potty training is starting to fade and so is my hope that it will ever happen.

I don't even want to think about doing this with Jack! Every time I tell him he needs to go in the potty he says "no, its scarry"....so I'll just keep waiting until he's ready. I love that you guys started the blog, its so fun to do, and to read about others. I promise I'll get the preschool papers to you soon, ha ha!
I really thought the day would never come that Evan would actually go to the bathroom on his own while I was potty training. But, one thing that worked for him was a treasure chest. He's really into pirates so I bought a cheap little treasure chest wrapped up his OWN little toys and he would get to unwrap one everytime he went potty. He didn't even realize that they were toys he already owned! I think when you're a potty training Mom you get pretty creative (or desperate). Good luck! I dread starting potty training with Hailey. I'm still trying to recover from training Evan! :)
